After cleaning out our pumpkins on Saturday afternoon, Sade took all of the seeds, rinsed them, coated them in oil and salt and baked them for a little over an hour! They turned out to be some of the best pumpkin seeds I've tasted in a long time! We've made them in the past before, but usually we overcook them and they taste yucky! She did an awesome job!
Sunday after dinner I decided the house was finally cool enough to bake the apple cake I've been dying to make since Saturday when we brought the yummy apples home. The cake turned out beautifully. It's almost a cross between a cookie and a cake. It turned out much different than I remember it being before... more crumbly this time... but still hits the spot!
