Derek and Sade completed confirmation at our church on Sunday, June 9. Beginning back in April they both were assigned a mentor to help them learn more about our Church and being a Christian. They went to a weekend retreat at Camp Potosi, attended two 2-hour sessions with the Pastor, met close to weekly with their mentors & met privately with the Pastor Bob. On their own, with no pressure from anyone, they chose to reconfirm their faith and become members of the Green Valley United Methodist Church. I'm such a proud mom! :) Papa and Grandma Annie came all the way from Connecticut to help celebrate, too!

- My name is Jennifer and I've been married almost 10 years to a wonderful man, Dele. We have four beautiful children, Derek (15), Sade (13), Ayodele (7) and Kayode (4). They keep me busy and bring smiles to my face daily! Being a stay-at-home mom the last 4 years has been a blessing. I have a Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Literacy. One of these days soon I will go back into the classroom, but for now, I'm loving being at home!
